An escape room is a live puzzle experience where you and your team work together to solve a series of puzzles in order to ultimately complete your goal and escape the room within 60 minutes.

Search the room, find clues, and solve puzzles! Your gamesmaster will explain everything you need to know when you arrive to play.

There is no dress code but make sure you are wearing something comfortable which you can move around in. We do not recommend wearing high heels.

You and your team need to arrive 15 minutes before your booked time so that we have time to brief you.

If you are going to be late please phone us on 01293 988 293 to let us know. Where possible we will try and make sure your game is the full 60 minutes, but we may need to shorten your game depending on how late you are.

If you arrive more than 15 minutes after your game was due to start we may have to cancel your game. Unfortunately you will not be eligible for a refund.

There is a pay-and-display car park directly behind the venue called Victoria Road Car Park. From there, it is about a 2 minute walk to our front door. 

You have 60 minutes to escape the room.

If you don’t manage to complete the game within the hour, your gamesmaster will come and let you out. We won’t be able to tell you what you’ve missed but you are welcome to come and try again!

Our age recommendations vary for each game so make sure you’ve double-checked the game information before booking. In general, we welcome players of all ages.

Please note that players under 18 MUST be accompanied by a responsible adult (aged 18+) who must remain on-site for the duration of the game.

You will need at least 2 players in your team to participate. 

Our game capacities vary with our largest games suitable for up to 10 players. 

If you would like to play in a larger group, our venue capacity is 40 players and we can split the group across multiple games. Please contact us directly to organise this.

No, never. All our bookings are private so once you book the game is yours for the duration. 

We have five different games here, all with different themes. Most of them aren’t scary but if you choose our horror game, The Governor, you can expect a dark, spooky atmosphere and plenty of jump scares, but no live actors. 

All our games are built in reasonably spacious areas and you always have access to the exit door if you want to step outside the game for a breather. However, there are some areas such as crawl spaces which may be less suitable for those with claustrophobia.

If you are concerned and would like to view the game area before booking, please contact us to arrange a visit. 

Our ground floor games (Rob the Bank, Crazy Cat Lady, and An Hour To Kill) are wheelchair accessible and suitable for those who require step-free access. Please note that we do not have any accessible toilets.

There is crawling required in all of our games which can be completed by one member of the team. If you would like to bypass any crawling, please speak to your gamesmaster before the game begins so that we can make adjustments.

Some of our games contain flashing lights and loud noises. Please speak to your gamesmaster before the game begins if you wish to omit these. 

Some puzzles may be harder than intended if you are colour-blind, vision impaired, or hard of hearing. We also recommend that the team has a good level of understanding of the English language.

We do not think anything in the room will be a problem to most people, but we want to make sure you are safe at all times so please contact us before you book to discuss whether your needs can be met. 

There are strictly no phones, photos, or videos allowed in our games. The contents of the games are a closely guarded secret, but we will take your team’s photo at the end and send it to you so you have a lasting memento. 

Unfortunately not.  All sales are final.  

Please be aware an escape game is a live experience. Once the booking has been confirmed refunds and cancellations are not accepted.  

If you can’t make your booking and your game is more than 48 hours in the future, we may be able to re-schedule your booking for a fee so please contact us directly to discuss your options.
